Meghan is a Nationally Board Certified Occupational Therapist with license to practice in the state of North Carolina. She received her Bachelors in Human Development and Family Studies at The University of Rhode Island and received her Masters in Occupational Therapy at Towson University. Her experience includes working in public and private school settings, the natural environment, and outpatient clinics. Meghan discovered pediatric occupational therapy while pursuing her bachelors degree and providing in home behavior therapy to children with special needs. She enjoys not only working with children, but collaborating with parents in order to maximize positive outcomes and allow children to develop to their best potential while promoting family quality of life. She has experience working with children with autism, down’s syndrome, fine motor delays, ADHD, sensory integration disorder and a variety of developmental disorders. She is trained in Therapeutic Listening, vestibular habilitation from the core, Handwriting Without Tears and Interactive Metronome.
