Ashley Seibert
Ashley Seibert is a Board Certified Occupational Therapist with license to practice in the state of North Carolina. She received her Bachelor of Psychology from the University of South Carolina and her Master of Occupational Therapy from Radford University. She is a current member of the American Occupational Therapy Association, as well as the North Carolina Occupational Therapy Association, and is dedicated to keeping up-to-date on current research and best practice.
While she has always loved and been drawn to children from an early age, Ashley discovered her real passion for working with them while providing ABA therapy for children with Autism while pursuing her Bachelor’s degree.  She is committed to providing family-centered and evidence-based techniques and protocols in order to help the children reach their fullest potential in home, school, and community environments. When practicing she prioritizes the family-system and caters her intervention to be as child-specific as possible. Ashley enjoys working with families because she gets to witness so many “firsts”, and loves celebrating the little things (and big things) with families everyday!
Ashley has extensive training that allows her to approach each child’s intervention in an individualized and holistic manner. Some areas of specialty include Therapeutic Listening, Handwriting Without Tears, Trauma Treatment in Children, DIR/Floortime, NDT, Primitive Reflex Integration, Interventions for Childhood Trauma, Feeding Therapy Techniques, Pediatric Yoga and numerous evidence-based sensory techniques. She works with children between the ages of 6 months and 19 years. Her clients present with a variety of diagnoses, including Sensory Integration Disorder, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Attention Deficit Disorder, Cerebral Palsy, and/or other developmental, genetic, and chromosomal disorders.
Ashley says she loves working at IS because we are our own small and supportive community! When she is not inspiring the families she works with, she enjoys spending time with her husband, son, and three furry ones.
