Brittany Rivera, MS, OTR/L

Brittany Rivera obtained her occupational therapy degree through Winston-Salem State University where she received her Masters of Science before beginning her career in pediatrics. 

Ms. Brittany provides OT services to children in their homes, daycares, and within the clinic setting. She is bilingual in English and Spanish which allows her to help families who, at times, experience barriers in accessibility to services for their child. She enjoys helping children and seeing their excitement and hope. She says, “It is amazing to watch them do something for the first time!”

Ms. Brittany has training in DIR Floortime and uses this interaction style to promote engagement and skill development when working with her patients. She is well versed in regulation and children experiencing behavioral challenges. She says, “My goal when helping children is for them to be proud of themselves without setting limits. I want them to achieve their dreams.”

When Ms. Brittany is not at IStation helping children, she enjoys spending time with her family, reading books, watching Netflix and relaxing.
